If you have not travelled outside the country by air recently you are behind the power curve. The biometric and facial recognition systems are already in place. At some locations, I didn’t even have to produce my ticket. I just stood in front of the camera station and it took my picture and sent me through. More disturbing, is that some normal looking people had their pictures taken and the box around the picture turned red and they were detained. So the biometric security state isn’t coming, it is already here. The entire experience was very strange.
Biometrics does not involve just taking your picture and sending you on your way. AI controlled systems recognize your face. It reads bioelectric signals generated by your brain and body. All data about you is cross referenced in seconds. If it determines you’re not a threat you’re on your way. If it determines you are a threat you will be detained.

Current private/public key cryptography is supposedly going to be replaced with quantum key cryptography according to info available. Quantum key distribution (QKD) can theoretically guarantee absolute information security.
Sure are a lot of “problems” with data security lately. Seems that none of our personal or private data stored in data centers and devices is safe from being hacked anymore. Hackers can do much more that read data, they can install malicious data too. What happens when a human brain is hacked using an advanced optical brain computer interface? What a tool for advanced psychological operations huh!
