The ancient Israelites, those who were given the 10 commandments (original form) given to Moses by God, as well as other statutes and ordinances, were NOT “semitic” people in the beginning! They became “semitic” over a long period of time because they incorporated other “nations” or “cultures” customs, beliefs, philosophies and traditions. They are Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Zeb’ulun, Is’sachar, Dan, Asher, Naph’tali, Joseph and Benjamin. These are the “twelve tribes of Israel”. The “Philistines” or “Palestinians” were living in the land of Canaan BEFORE Moses and ancient Israelites came to claim it as their “Promised Land”. They were NOT members of the twelve tribes of Jacob, or Israel. Palestine is where “Judaism” originated.
According to a FOX News report this morning on msn.com the Israeli defense minister claims: “dozens’ of UNRWA staff took part in Hamas’ Oct 7 massacre”. There’s no way of knowing if this is true or false but given the past history of deception concerning many past “events” there’s no way one should trust the sources. This doesn’t mean one should trust the UN sources either.

The sons of Judah “did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the customs which Israel had introduced.” For this reason, “…the LORD rejected all the descendants of Israel, and afflicted them, and gave them into the hands of spoilers, until he cast them out of his sight.” They were separated from the “house of David” and exiled to Assyria! All this and much more is detailed in THE SECOND BOOK OF THE KINGS, chapter 17, RSV 1952. The sons of Israel long ago departed from obeying their God!
