It should not be too hard to see, especially considering the recent declaration of war by the US government, that the current path of the Trump administration is a far cry from what was promised along the campaign trail, arguably off the rails. Some may still be holding out hope with the possibility that Trump is simply taking extreme and “off-the-beaten-path” steps in order to solve the(intentional) mess left behind by the Obama administration. And to some degree, that may be true.
Yet, when one chooses to look at the bigger picture with objective eyes, and out from behind the political lens, it quickly becomes clear that there is far more at play here that whether or not Donald Trump is good or evil. As always, the intention is to make anything and everything of political importance so polarized that nothing can get accomplished … except behind the scenes while the people fight amongst themselves.
Americans must come to terms with the fact that the US government(and all government for that matter) does not have their best interest in mind, and point of fact, that truth is revealed with every choice that disregards the majority will in what they fervently claim is a “democracy, despite all the blatant evidence to the contrary, and that should tell us something. In today’s alarmist society, when people begin to take notice that their will is being circumvented(as with cannabis and the clear majority consensus) all they must do it redirect that attention with yet another attack, and carefully explain why that circumvention is now all due to the need to provide YOU with protection from the enemy THEY created, at the expense of your freedom of course.
In this week’s episode of TLAV Political Roundtable we discuss the evolving landscape that is Donald Trump, and how his choices have not aligned with the campaign trail. We break down defining topics for this country such as the marijuana movement and the investigation that has become known as pizzagate or pedogate. Then we address the current administrations failures and successes in regards to these topics.
