Digital trouble! Tried to access my email account and was told I need to verify my mobile phone number in order to make sure I am the person signing in. The mobile phone I use, as well as all mobile phones, has live scan images of my face because of the camera it has built in. Just read this morning there is a problem with this though because of “digital injections”. This is when an attacker uses AI to create synthetic images of a user to fool biometric facial recognition systems in order to gain access to an account.
