Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours.
I did not shy away today from calling the recent drone attack on Russia what it was, a false flag attack. Now whether it was the US, Israel, or even the Syrian rebels as the US asserts, at this point we do not know, but Russia claims to have hard proof of who was behind it, where the drones were handed over, and even how much the provocateurs were paid. If these allegations are correct, this was a text-book example of a false flag attack.
Putin himself said:
“Recent attacks on Russia’s Khmeimim Airbase in Syria were a provocation aimed at undermining the country’s relations with its partners Turkey and Iran and the peaceful settlement of the Syrian crisis.”
“We know when and where those unmanned aerial vehicles were handed over and how many there were.”
“Those aircraft were only camouflaged – I want to emphasize this – to look like handicraft production. In fact, it is quite obvious that there were elements of high-tech nature there.”
“We know who they were and how much they paid for that provocation.”
Putin claims to be in possession of evidence demonstrating the rebels had outside help, yet it is unknown when and how he will reveal it.
Another large story of the day was in regard to the Uranium One scandal and actual indictments being handed down. Yet I still feel it is a long shot to hope that Clinton herself will be held accountable, yet this is a good sign in that direction.
