Dumping PolyVinyl dust all over Lahaina site is incredibly unwise, especially considering that if it catches on fire, you may have a toxic chemical problem again somewhat like East Palestine. ANY form of vinyl is incredibly toxic when it burns, even if it does not create dioxin. Vinyl is the most toxic form of plastic in the world and the least recyclable. There are other ‘soil stabilizers’ such as Perma-Zyme that are not made of plastic but rather, use enzymes. Plastic is NOT the answer! It will create a host of new problems for local residents. Local residents should DEMAND they use a less toxic soil stabilizer.
Residents need to round up the perpetrators of this social murder and put them on peoples trial, with the punishment equal to the horrendous crime!!
Ryan, you mention Soiltac doesn’t currently have their website up and running for the public to see, however when I type the URL: soilworks.com, which it seems is the company that makes Soiltac, into the web address bar of my internet server, it takes me directly to their website which features Soiltac, and Powdered Soiltac, as well as Durasoil and Gorilla-Snot. Other than that one detail, superb work. Thank you for everything you do.
I demonstrate this on the show. I also went to SoilWorks while live. I was merely pointing out that the page that comes up dedicated to SoilTac, or the links provided from before, are no longer there. Why that is, is up to you do decide. Thank you for your support. I do think this is an alarming development.
