Interesting, your use of the word “world”. The “world” in the context you use it in is humanity in general. The “world” is, in general, instinctually opposed to the authority of the Lord God. Humanity, in general, is driven by their desire to do whatever their “instincts” lead them to do, to be “independent”. This way of thinking has not led to anything “good” according to the Lord God’s definition of what is “good”!
Those governed by their “instincts” vastly outnumber those who no longer look at everything based on the human point of view. The politicians are governed by their “instincts”. They seek to satisfy their “passions” and the “passions” of their followers, but they are all collectively under the influence of their “instincts”. They all have a “common sense” that is based on satisfying the “passions, and they are opposed to the authority of the Lord God, though many will claim otherwise. The human way of thinking has been and is the cause of fighting and wars just as the apostle James wrote long ago. The way of peace humanity does not know!
