In this week’s episode of Political Roundtable we discuss the increasingly contradictory nature of Trump’s administration, and the implications these contradictions carry, as well as the lingering threat of globalism that still has a strong foothold in both trump’s cabinet and the US government. To use the theme word of 2016, this is a very polarized discussion, as with every political talking point over the last year. This polarization has been pushed into the daily lives of the average news-watching American for the sole purpose of dividing the very people who have the power to enact change when united; to keep everyone arguing with what were once their friends and cordial neighbors, while other more nefarious actions are carried out behind the scenes.
We have one side criticizing anything Trump does in any way they can, while blatantly ignoring anything good, and the other side praising anything he does with zero objectivity, while ignoring the many glaring examples of his failures. What we need is to look to the truth of the matter and judge each action on its merit and intent, and throw these manipulative partisan politics to the wayside. To allow our corporate-media-induced preprogrammed responses to dictate the direction of this country, or rather allow that direction to be usurped while we squabble over their reality TV style news, is to allow the loss of what little remains of an idea that still lives on in the minds of those few striving for liberty–an idea of America that might never have existed outside the thoughts and desires of a few patriots, yet has now become as real and visceral as the pain and oppression currently enveloping our way of life.
