Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours (8/8/18).
John Bolton has been ramping up his television appearances recently to assure the public that Iran Evil, US good, that the recent reimposed sanctions are in the best interest of “spreading democracy,” and that the protests happening (and about to happen) are of course a completely organic uprising from an oppressed people, and have nothing to do whatsoever with the US desire to take control of the Iranian government. And of course, to absurdly say that “no, the US is not seeking regime change in Iran,” despite both the administration’s previous actions and words demonstrating the exact opposite.
The oligarchy currently controlling the US has clearly chosen to stand with the worst that the world has to offer today; the very civilian murdering, human rights trampling, sinister world dominating, genocide committing governments that they pretend to be fighting. They are a quintessential example of the classic propaganda saying, “accuse your enemies of that which you are guilty.”
It only takes the smallest amount of due diligence to see that our supposed leaders, are actually doing the very same things as their ill-intentioned allies, and despite the claims from these documented US liars, they are seeking to create the same in Iran, as they have in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and many others, while ignoring far worse crimes from those currently with US support.
As always, take the information discussed in the video below and research it for yourself, and come to your own conclusions. Anyone telling you what the truth is, or claiming they have the answer, is likely leading you astray, for one reason or another. Stay Vigilant.

What a load of crap, now the usa has spent a fortune, on the Russians are coming, they are now directing there attention to the Skripal poisoning which is a heap of crap, crap crap.
Ryan, the way you are cobbling these headlines together and linking to audio files is
not good. I have tried several times for instance to find the info on Assange without success.
This format is terrible and not in keeping with very well thought out exposes…
Linking to audio files? I am not sure what you mean. With all due respect, it took me about 10 seconds to find the point in which I discuss the Assange story here: https://youtu.be/secpMOdivw4?t=16m12s, and I feel that maybe you just do no understand the format, as in the podcast version at the top, and the video broadcast at the bottom (which is the primary medium of reporting, the podcast version is just for those who prefer to listen on the move). In addition, all the links to all the full stories are right there in the show notes, and I always encourage everyone to further read them on there own. I am sorry you are not a fan of the layout, but most everyone else seems to enjoy it. As for “cobbling together headlines” this is a “Daily Wrap Up” of the day’s most important news stories, so I am not really sure what you expected. I hope you come to see what I am going for, either way, I wish you well.
It’s a YouTube or Podcast that is apparently some 36 minutes long and the Assange piece is about half way through the direct link you sent. Thanks for the clarification. Will find the show notes. Frustrated at being unable to find Assange updates on two pieces quickly. You obviously know where the coverage begins, I did not.
Actually, I did not remember where in that video I talked about it. All I did was click “open transcript” and searched for “Assange” and there it was. I am sorry that it was not the first story I discussed, but it was also not the first story in the headline. When discussing multiple stories this situation is unavoidable. So I hope you can see that your frustration was not with my format alone, if at all, but rather that you wanted to see a specific story first, and in this show, it just did not work out that way. I hope you enjoy the show.
not sure enjoy is the right descriptor, as its beyond terriblel the way Assange has been persecuted , but you know that
thanks also for the “open transcript” hint, as its tremendously useful
Keep up the fantastic work, real journalism and commentary is far too rare
Thank you, I appreciate that. And you are too right, “enjoy” was indeed a poor choice of words. Glad you found it useful. Much more to come.
