I tried to take the stance on a NewsBusters Facebook post of Israel committing war crimes in Gaza and it didn’t go too well. It ended with a slew of insults, being called a moron and being told to read a book. I’m not sure how my comment was incorrect, it was based on things that I have read on TLAV. I have since deleted my post and unfollowed NewsBusters. I can’t do that anymore.
Why is it that you assume your comment was incorrect? And why delete it because uninformed people act like uninformed people? That will happen every time. Stand your ground.
Thank you, Ryan. I’m not good at debates, frankly. It helps when I have something to back my argument, and I appreciate the work that you all do and information that you provide. I’ve shared TLAV links in the past on NewsBusters, most recently being the article debunking Hamas bombing the hospital in Gaza, and zero comments on the links. But criticism on my last comment was overwhelming so I backed out.
Have done a lot of searching for the truth in my 69 plus years living in America. Am now well aware of the fact that we’ve been lied to about a lot of things we were educated to believe in and accept as the truth via the secular humanist institutions in charge of education. Secular humanist traditions and philosophies long ago infiltrated and eventually dominated the thinking of those educated in them. The masses thought nothing of the iniquities they were involved in practicing and supporting, with very few exceptions, because they were being lied to by those who were quite aware of them! Religious institutions were instrumental in spreading secular humanist doctrine and they changed the original significance of the words of Christ to create their own form of Christianity which is widely accepted as real Christianity. It is not! Many will get quite upset and angry with my understand on this, but this is the truth, believe it or don’t!
