Having just voted to reauthorize the highly controversial and overtly unconstitutional FISA Act, we are now being told that Congress is in possession of a four-page memo detailing extensive FISA court abuse.
There is a lot of speculation being floated in regard to this memo, as words such as “explosive” “shocking” and “alarming” are being thrown around. Some partisan networks and journalists are even claiming this could lead to the removal of senior FBI and DoJ officials, and even the end of the Mueller investigation altogether.
At this point the memo itself has not been made public, so any speculation, especially that coming from MSM and their “unnamed” sources who have claimed to have read the memo, should be taken with a grain of salt:
“The document shows a troubling course of conduct and we need to make the document available, so the public can see it.”
“Once the public sees it, we can hold the people involved accountable in a number of ways.”
“Some of these people should no longer be in the government.”
As Zerohedge put it:
A source close to the matter tells Fox News that “the memo details the Intelligence Committee’s oversight work for the FBI and Justice, including the controversy over unmasking and FISA surveillance.” An educated guess by anyone who’s been paying attention for the last year leads to the obvious conclusion that the report reveals extensive abuse of power and highly illegal collusion between the Obama administration, the FBI, the DOJ and the Clinton Campaign against Donald Trump and his team during and after the 2016 presidential election.
With what has been exposed about the FBI in recent months, it is hard to argue with such a claim, yet it is important not to jump to conclusions, as the memo’s contents are as of yet unknown outside of Congress. Lawmakers who have seen the document are calling for it to be released immediately, with one Congressman comparing its contents to the type of activity one would expect from the KGB. “It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan told Fox News. “It’s troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said.
“Part of me wishes that I didn’t read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”
Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz said he believes that people could lose their jobs or worse, if the memo is released, and refers to DOJ officials Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr:
“I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice.”
“People will go to jail.”
According to Sara Carter, a Fox News contributor:
The dossier was used in part as evidence for a warrant to surveil members of the Trump campaign, according to a story published this month. Former British spy Christopher Steele, who compiled the dossier in 2016, was hired by embattled research firm Fusion GPS. The firm’s founder is Glenn Simpson, a former Wall Street Journal reporter who has already testified before Congress in relation to the dossier. In October, The Washington Post revealed for the first time that it was the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC that financed Fusion GPS.
Congressional members are hopeful that the classified information will be declassified and released to the public.
“We probably will get this stuff released by the end of the month,” stated a congressional member, who asked not to be named.
Pending a committee vote, and barring any objections from the White House within five days of the vote, the memo could be released to the public. We must refrain from further speculation, or reaching connections to other popular theories, until we have more to go on, as it is still possible, even with all the hype, that the public may never see the memo’s contents. Even WikiLeaks is now offering a reward in Bitcoin to anyone who will share the memo:

The depths to which the corruption and malfeasance goes in the current governmental structure is shockingly apparent today. And despite the willingness of many to allow steps in the wrong direction for what they see “a necessary evil,” it is prudent not to jump to conclusions about any such discussion point in which all the people have to go on are the words of the very same corrupt politicians and overtly biased mainstream media outlets.
We all no doubt want to see those involved held accountable for their abuses of power and manipulation of the system in which many still put their faith. But as long as we have nothing more to go on then anonymous insider sources and the words of those deeply embedded in said system, we must act responsibly, and demand full transparency.
These same conservatives are claiming that the underlying source material corroborates the claims in the memo. There are countless ways for them to get that to the public if any of this were true. Until one of them does it, nobody should take this seriously. Let’s see the docs. https://t.co/NvM9loyTKM
