More times than we can count, it seems that the Clintons, and more to the current point, Hillary Clinton, has been under the gun and surrounded with, by all accounts, blatant evidence of criminal activity, and willful intent to not only hide that evidence but obstruct the entire process of investigation. So forgive me when I do not jump up in glee when I see the recent news of Sessions and the DOJ claiming to have the Clintons in their crosshairs, as we have all been fooled before.
To begin, I have lost all hope in the intentions of Jeff Sessions due to his clearly self-serving aim at the helm of the DOJ. As an obvious and classic example of a “good ol’ boy” who puts political and personal connections above enforcing and protecting the law, Sessions has shown more than once that he simply does not care what the people think, or rather, that he thinks he knows what is best for the people, which is a much more dangerous authoritarian prospect — which is actually quite on par for the current administration. A clear example of this is Sessions’ recent decision to rescind the Obama-era protection of States’ rights, and allow federal prosecutors to once again prosecute individuals for simple possession of cannabis, even in states where the people have collectively voted otherwise.
This type of leadership is not leadership at all, this is authoritarian rule, wherein the people of this faux democracy (yes, that was supposed to be a democratic republic, yet is neither) are simply told what they can and cannot do. This typically begins under the guise of “protection and security,” yet Sessions has no designs to play that game, he is simply jumping right to the end: what he says goes, and that is that.
So when we hear of this new aim of investigating the Clinton Foundation to see whether or not it participated in any pay-to-play or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, a few questions come to mind.
First, with all we now have in front of us, be it the WikiLeaks emails, the Guccifer hack of the Clinton Foundation, or the first hand testimony and documentation of the Uranium One deal, what else does the DOJ need? It would seem, that just as the Comey disclosure of “reopening” the Clinton case was a red herring, a distraction, that this new declaration of investigation into the Clintons is no different. All of this also seems to be acutely focused on the Uranium One deal and Clinton’s actions while serving under Obama as Secretary of State. Which is certainly one major aspect that, again, there is already mountains of evidence to support clear criminal activity, but that seems to ignore the more recent illegal acts that were carried out during the 2016 election; the very obvious, blatant and quite verifiable act of lying repeatedly to the FBI, and obstructing justice by destroying evidence that was under Congressional subpoena using a program called “Bleachbit.”
As Congressman Gowdy put it:
“They were using something called BleachBit. You don’t use BleachBit for yoga emails or bridemaids emails. When you’re using BleachBit, it is something you really do not want the world to see.”
So why, with all that can now be proven, even openly discussed by Congress, is there a need for more investigation into acts that have already been acknowledged as criminal activity, while failing to address what is right in front of us?
I should make very clear, that in every way possible way, I hope that the new investigation is in fact genuine, and want more than most to see the Clintons held accountable for their crimes. Yet, I feel that with all that we have seen in the recent past, that we should be showing more than a little healthy skepticism to this claim.
Which brings me to my second point. The FBI is now leading this investigation… Does anyone else have a problem with that? What we have seen in spades over the last few months in regard to the FBI, should be opening some eyes, not only to the corrupt nature of the FBI, but the corrupt nature of both the intelligence community and the US government at large. I do not see how anyone who has actually been watching the Mueller investigation play out can have any faith left in the FBI’s ability to carry out an unbiased investigation. The Mueller probe has seemingly turned into an exposé of the internal corruption and illegal activity on the Bureau’s part. So the wildly corrupt FBI, who has demonstrated open biased in favor of Hillary Clinton, and even outright hatred toward Donald Trump, is now leading the charge to “investigate” the Clinton Foundation — forgive me if I do feel this will be seen to fruition.
According to the Daily Caller:
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents in Little Rock, Ark., are taking the lead in the investigation, having already interviewed at least one witness in the past month.
The agents are trying to determine whether the Clintons exchanged political favors for donationsmade to their charitable foundation. On a similar note, agents are also trying to decipher whether Hillary Clinton pushed favorable policies while acting as secretary of state for donations to the Foundation.
FBI agents are also investigating if the Clintons misused any charitable funds or tax-exempt assets through the Foundation for personal or political use. Reports surfaced in 2016 that alleged FBI officials in multiple U.S. field offices were collecting information on the Clinton Foundation, including the headquarters in Little Rock.
If anyone else had the current level of incriminating information around them as she does, ignoring for the moment the tangible evidence of actual criminal activity and just focusing on the circumstantial evidence at hand, they would already be behind bars. We have already seen military personnel held accountable and charged for exactly the same crimes that Clinton was allowed to walk away from unscathed, and to a markedly lesser degree than Clinton’s actions.
The most infuriating aspect is that most agree with all of this discussion, from both sides of the aisle. Yet the disagreement stems from whether the intentions of the current administration are genuine — as much of everything discussed today seems to revolve around, which should show us something. While everyone argues over Trump and whether he is fighting the Deep State, or whether he has done more good than bad, or whether his actions are justified, etc., the real issues at hand, the ones that were here before he came into office, and the ones that will likely be here long after he is gone, are being put on the back burner. And these issues are arguably much more important and detrimental than who is right and who is wrong.
My prediction? I think this will be a huge dog and pony show of an “investigation” (into crimes the American people are already aware of, and have seen ample evidence to support), one that will be made to seem genuine, thorough and unbiased, yet one that will ultimately end up producing the same result: Clinton not being held accountable herself. We may see someone close to her held to task, but I for one do not think that is enough, and will simply be a way to placate the frothing masses, and support their world view of Trump the savior, while Clinton walks away once again. I will end by reiterating that I truly want to see Clinton held accountable, and I truly do want to be proven wrong when it comes to Donald Trump and his true intentions, as this is not about being right, this is about what we can prove, and what is best for the American people, and the world.
She will get away with it.
Hillary will go to her death unscathed by the law! Her path to power is remarkable, First Hag, Senator and then Secretary of…what? Oh, and she’s the President too, but don’t tell The Donald!
Hillary’s success just goes to show that worshipping Lucifer works!
There is great evil in that face… it emanates.
