Jefferson was a member of the 18th century “Philosophes”, a loosely associated group of cultural critics, religious skeptics and political reformers involved at the beginning of the “Enlightenment”. They were humanists who supported secularism, cosmopolitanism, and the freedom to think and do whatever they wanted to think and do. They believed in the “right” to freely question and criticize both the Church or the state without interference. They were “non-Christians”. They practiced “Deism” which was based on tolerance of all religion. They believed that freedom of thought and freedom of expression were necessary for human “progress”. They believed that human invention and intelligence were the keys to human “progress”. They believed that human scientific empiricism was a very powerful “agent” to that end. They did not believe in the promise of “Divine Grace”, or in the hands of “Fortune”, but in the “works of their own hands”. They believed in “emancipation”, or man’s moral autonomy. CHRISTIAN’S THEY WERE NOT!
Lance, just think about this: All these old, long-outdated, > man-made man-made religious labels, book, buildings, and spies.
Manmade religious labels? The original disciples of Christ first gathered together in Antioch, Syria, after the ascension of Christ. It was there that those who opposed Christ were “labeled” by them as “Christian’s”. This “label” was used to identify those who no longer supported the then ruling empires secular philosophies and pagan religious traditions.
News headline on MSN this morning: “Project 2025 Leader Suggests a “Second American Revolution” Is Near.” Hmmm? Just coincidental this comes out right after your latest video comes out stating the same? The leader of this project claims that this revolution will not be violent IF the former president, Donald Trump, the presumed Republican nominee wins the election come November and the “left” goes along with what they have planned in 2025.

Would be interesting and superior points, if you can make all the same arguments without using the nonsense terms “god” and “belief”.
I value your opinion and ideas Ryan, but care not what you believe. Belief is foolish.
Our rights were not given to us, especially by an invisible friend. Our rights are considered apparent, inherent, natural. WE HUMANS gave us, our rights, and not the US constitution. Human rights are what sane people consider just and respectful treatment.
So long as we honor and defend our rights(what is right), they exist. They can not be taken away. Rights can be honored and defended, or violated and ignored. They still exist! Not just for Americans either!
According to your human way of thinking “Belief is foolish”, yet you’re expressing what you think or believe. Your foolishness is obvious.
Our forefathers said something- to -the – effect that if we woke up homeless on these shores we should have a revolution. It seems we’re overdue.
Somebody else said — maybe you can remember who — that it becomes necessary for govts to be replaced bc they always inevitably in due time become corrupt & incompetent.
It is the view of activists that the whole govt is corrupt, & that many Americans had seen from the get-go that Biden was, & is, incompetent.
We do need a revolution bc Biden has secretly committed dictatorial acts & Trump in his Project 2025 aspires to the same.
Many foreigners who fled Communist regimes say that America is in a pre-Communist stage, bc what they see going on here now is the same that their countries went thru before becoming Communist.
There’s a book out delving into the whole thing & warning us against making it so. It’s going to be turned into a Hollywood documentary.
We wouldn’t need a violent revolution, just an ideological return to who we are as Americans tho.
The least we could do is elect somebody like RFK, Jr. for POTUS & have various activist orgs & others work with him. The Christian Right on social issues, Hillsdale College on political issues, Progressive Left on economic issues & No Labels if the the consensus between the Left, Right & Center was changing our policy with Israel. (It may be bc the Pro-Palestinian position is dominant in America & the world.)
