On December 20, US President Donald Trump came with a new breaking statement on the situation in Syria. This time he claimed that Russia, Iran, Syria and many others are not happy about the US decision to withdraw troops from Syria because they will have to deal with ISIS now.
….Russia, Iran, Syria & many others are not happy about the U.S. leaving, despite what the Fake News says, because now they will have to fight ISIS and others, who they hate, without us. I am building by far the most powerful military in the world. ISIS hits us they are doomed!

It seems that Trump accidentally forgot that the US had ‘defeated ISIS’ a day ago.
We have defeated ISIS in Syria, my only reason for being there during the Trump Presidency.

Are two different terrorist groups named ISIS? Probably, this is the only reasonable explanation of the Trump statements on this issue.
