An interview first aired in 2013, conducted by private investigator and independent media researcher/broadcaster, Ed Opperman of the Vegas-based Opperman Report, interviewed retired New York detective James Rothstein, who worked a career in Human Trafficking and Vice-related crimes, a field of investigation that quickly led him directly to the underbelly of the New York City cultist underground. Rothstein, who is now mayor of a small town in Minnesota, is an amazing and baffling firsthand primary source that details the worst of the realities of Satanist-cult activity in the US, which remained an under-reported and prevalent statistic since at least the 1960’s, on record. Generalizing an overwhelming case-study of details like Rothstein’s, his investigations into cult activity lead him into avenues crime related to the Process Church of the Final Judgement, the Son of Sam murders in the Bronx during the 1970’s, and may relate to further lesser known involving child abduction and cult activity (especially in New York and New England) cases like the trail of Andre Rand, now known by many as the “Cropsey Case.”
The heavy assertions made here were taken into consideration and written about in part by Maury Terry and his late 1980’s research classic, The Ultimate Evil, which can be read here in full and downloaded for free.
The full interview can be viewed here.
A second interview, recorded in 2014, which discusses a variety of different topics, but continues to go into the thread of cult activity as well, can be viewed here.
People who consider this field of research an “ill-founded conspiracy theory” or “fake news” would take care to look into Detective Jim Rothstein’s career.
