In a revealing and almost expected revelation, Bernie Sanders has announced that he will be returning to the Senate as an Independent, making the assertion that he was, “…elected as an Ind.” This however does nothing to hide his obvious irritation, his outright contempt with the Democratic party, and politics in general. Well, maybe I was channeling the American people as a whole, and perhaps my own dissatisfaction with “politics as usual” in this country, to put it lightly.
Bernie Sanders tells @bpolitics breakfast w/reporters he’ll return to the Senate as an Independent, not a Dem: ‘I was elected as an Ind.’

One might ask themselves why Sanders would endorse a candidate, of which he had just spent the last year showing the American people why she was unfit to be President, while knowing he would be changing parties come November. The obvious possibility is that he is simply a career politician, and that is what he is supposed to do in that situation, or it could be possible, in this current hotbed of deception and deceit that is American politics, that he was threatened in some way, whether that be professionally or personally. Neither would surprise many at this point in the game, with all the shocking revelations that have become public knowledge this election year.
One thing is certain, there may still be a future presidential ballot in the cards for this wild haired, millennial invigorating supposed “anti-establishment” candidate. The real question is, will voters still want to stand in his corner after spending the next few months helping to fulfill his part of the political theater that will be the wholly undemocratic crowning of Hillary Clinton.
