Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours (5/21/18).
We are in a wildly manipulative time in this nation’s history, where propaganda and deception are disgustingly commonplace. There seems to be more misinformation than information out there today; and I have always said that is largely by design. The idea being to create a scenario where Americans are so overwhelmed with contradicting narratives that they simple check out, resigned to listen to whatever is easiest and most comfortable; and mainstream media is designed to seem like the answer.
At one point this misinformation was largely carried out by the government, or corporations and their lobbyists, but it seems that today, it has entirely bled over into our daily interactions with each other. It has become wholly acceptable today, expected even, that we lie to one another — lie to progress our cause, lie to stop their cause, lie with prejudice, even just lie by omission — as long as you can tell yourself that you are morally on the correct side; which by the way is an entirely subjective concept.
How can we not see how entirely we are being deceived? How can we not see how utterly contradictory and hypocritical it is to in fact lie to ourselves, and pretend that it is somehow acceptable to ignore facts, deceive those that trust in our integrity, and just blatantly misrepresent the truth when it suits our political, social or personal agendas? Moral or otherwise? It is because those social engineers behind the curtain — the ones always pulling the strings — have told us it is okay. They have reached down from their subtle soap boxes and whispered into the ears of the masses that, “these are troubled times, and desperate times call for desperate measures. You must do what is necessary, lie, cheat, steal, but don’t worry, because you are on the side of righteousness.”
Some have indeed bought into that entirely preposterous notion — that has in fact fueled some of the worst atrocities in history, thinking that your crimes are not real crimes, because you fight on the right side — but many others, abuse it, pretending they have the moral high ground, so that their lies are “good lies,” serving a higher purpose. Which is complete self-delusion, if actually believed.
I do not claim to always be right, in fact, I have been wrong many times, but I have never, never done so with the intent to sway anyone to share my opinion. In my eyes, those that do so, even if convinced by the social programming that they are on the right side of history, are just as bad as all that they claim to fight.
I simply cannot say it enough: question all that you see, look to a wide variety of varying sources, and come to your own independent conclusion, even if those differ from what is forced upon you as the “right opinion;” especially if they differ from the group-think mentality. Most importantly, anyone out there telling you they have the answer, that they know the indisputable truth, that they have some inside source that has all the goods but never seems to suggest that you think for yourself, is likely leading you astray.
The point is, the truth is being distorted everyday, in both directions, some manipulate it to hurt those they see as unjust, others bend it to achieve what they think is right, and some, are just simply corrupt. But all those who say we should just keep quiet and keep our heads down, are simply cowards, or have been so brainwashed that they can no longer see that all we once held most dear in this country is being systematically stripped away, under one guise or another; most common of which is protection from whatever phantom threat has been sold to the feeble-minded to cow them into submission. But don’t let them scare you into silence, because it is your voice, your ability to take a stand that scares them the most. Which is exactly, why it is so very important.
