In asymmetric war, Mr. Cristian, the use of civilian vehicles to transport military personnel and military stuff is done all the time by everyone involved. Advanced military surveillance platforms in space over battle spaces are always watching what’s going on, day or night, in the air and on the ground, even underground and underwater. Military surveillance capabilities are far more advanced than commercial systems even though commercial intelligence systems are often used by the military. Ambulances are often used to transport military personnel and other military stuff so they are often targeted. There are also autonomous weapons platforms flying in the air and in space over areas where fighting is going on. They make decisions on their own, despite assurances they don’t, as to what to target based on threat level parameters/metrics. Nothing is as cut and dried as you seem to think.

I haven’t listened to this episode yet, waiting for the mp3 🙂 but one thing that stands out to me is I am seeing reports that this has been planned for weeks and also that this is a response to actions in a mosque a couple of days ago.
How does that add up?

“Black Lives Matter” is because of the disproportionate number of American-Africans that are murdered by police. Of course all lives matter. People who say “Black (or any other repressed minority) Lives Matter” are not saying others don’t.

Israeli history goes much farther back in time than since the establishment of the Jewish state called Israel. This soldiers frame of reference is obviously limited to since the Jewish state was established in 1948 by the United Nations.
If you were being objective, Mr. Cristian, you would not be taking a side! What is going on in the Middle East was foretold would happen in the correct versions of the Word of God, in both the Old and New Testaments. One correct version is the Revised Standard Version of the Holy Bible and Its publication was authorized by vote of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the U.S.A. in 1951. Of course, discernment and understanding of what is written therein is dependent upon whether or not GOD grants it.

Howdy Ryan. You’re shows always hit things right on the nose in my opinion even if others disagree. I do have some thoughts on the subject myself and they’re just thoughts and opinions, I’m not disagreeing with you on anything you talked about on this show.
1. The person who posted “If the Muslims put down their weapons then we’ll have peace. If Jews (or Israelis)put down their weapons we lose Israel” I don’t think fully understands the history behind Israel even going way back into BC era which to be fair not many do. Hebrews and Jews are not the same race of people. Now before people think that’s racist or anything as such, it’s not. This is a fact we are trained to forget. The term “Jew” wasn’t even a thing until the New Testament. Jews in a sense are Europeans who practice Judaism and then go around claiming to be the true children of god. This is false because European Jews are not Hebrew and are not from Hebrew descent. European Jews were given Israel as we already know after WW2, but it never belonged to them in the first place and the true Hebrew race which is spread far across the globe, can never go back to their true home land.
2. For people to say Palestine never existed again doesn’t know History or doesn’t read the bible. Not saying the bible itself is accurate. The King James version of the bible is wrought with lies and deceit, however with that it does state some facts. Palestine is where the Philistines lived and it was right next to what was then a small country called Israel. The Hebrews and Philistines like many tribal communities, had many conflicts between them. Always taking land and losing land. Gaining it back and losing it again and on and on. Palestine has always existed even back in the BC era.
3. In regards to who we cheer and jeer for with war crimes (I know you don’t Ryan just saying people in general who do) we need to look back on our own history because we will find it is full of what we call war crimes today. Lives of innocent civilians should never be the dividing point for us because as Ryan pointed out the lives of both civilian individuals should matter to everyone. It shouldn’t matter if they’re a Jew or Palestinian. Black or White. I could go on but I won’t. Case in point back during the Civil War the North raised an army to fight an opposing army correct? False. The Southern army was full of untrained civilians who most never saw or stepped foot on a battle field. That aside, during countless invasions from the North to “reunite the Union” many Northern soldiers burned Southern homes, murdered Southern people male, female and child. Bombarded civilian occupied cities, raped and pillaged all in the name of “freedom”. Now was it only the North who did such actions? Mostly yes but only because the South never had much of a chance to invade Northern States, only states that were reoccupied by the North. But did the Southern commit war crimes on their end as well? Absolutely. However It was the North who predominately did the most war crimes against US citizens. With that in mind we should not be surprised when other countries do the same thing to their own people as well. It’s nothing new and has been repeated over and over again throughout history.
That’s all I had to say. Hopefully I didn’t offend anyone with this opinion of mine. Keep up the good work Ryan and looking forward to the upcoming changes you have in store for the future of TLAV.
