I lost count of all the examples of the times TLAV has reported on an issue long before it was widely known. There are plenty of others doing similar work too.
What’s sad is IT DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING. Whatever it was, no matter how lethal and deadly it was, they just kept on marching forward. Truth is they were probably already ten steps down the road…not onto the NEXT thing but the next next next next next…..thing by the time even the TLAVs of the world were calling it out.
We can all sit around and keep talking through our phones and more and more if not most us will be dead and still nothing will change.
It must’ve changed something if you find yourself in a place where you are seeing “talking through our phones” as ineffective at bringing about change. The very fact that you have made this observation, one that fuels your want to try something different, requires that his reporting had been done way before now.
Whether you like it or not, his actions are changing things. You and your thoughts would be an example of this, but by all means talk to us on your phone about how his work, the prerequesit for your valuable observations, “DIDN’T CHANGE ANYTHING”.

This was in reply to Selena saying that Ryan’s work, as good as it is, didn’t change anything.
Just pointing out how the very point of view that Selena holds requires an environment in which someone like Ryan is doing the work that Selena is implying has no effect.
