If you want to change the world, you first have to understand how it currently works. Most people in the world would agree that currently, money is what truly makes the world go around. Money is the medium of exchange in which society transfers labor from one person to another, whether through finished products or manual services. Unless you want to live totally off the grid, it’s very hard to survive in the current day and age without interacting with money on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we are not often taught much in school about how money or banking actually works. It’s either a series of half-truths or completely omitted from the curriculum as if it’s unimportant.
However, most still have the basic understanding that banking is the engine of the money system. There is a reason banks are always on the tallest buildings in the city or dawning sports arenas across the world. It’s obvious to everyone, banks are some of the most powerful institutions on the planet. In many ways, they rival or even surpass governments as entities with the most power in society.
The problem is that most people don’t actually understand banking. They never peel back the layers and look behind the scenes. This blinds them to many basic realizations, such as the fact that there are even larger, more powerful banks behind the scenes called central banks; or the fact that banking is largely based on credit expansion, and most money being created is fiat and an instrument of debt. In fact, most people know what inflation is, yet still have no idea how or why it happens. They just accept it as a normal reality of the world and never question it.
This is something that has to change if we are to ever change the world. We don’t just have to understand how the money system works, we have to become masters on the subject. The only way to defeat the enemy is to know them in and out, so arming yourself with as much knowledge as possible on core subjects like the monetary system is crucial. Even those who are “awake” must go deep into their understanding of it. Looking at it a few times is not enough to hold up under the pressure of constant questioning and propaganda that inevitably will be thrown your way during a discussion with someone.
This is a war on information, so if we are to change the world, we have to begin to win information battles. There is no better ammunition to have than understanding one of the most important banks in the entire monetary system: The Federal Reserve. Sadly, many fail to understand what the FED actually is, let alone the shocking reality behind the image presented by the establishment.
Below is a documentary on the Federal Reserve by James Corbett of the Corbett Report to get you started or further your understanding on the subject. Starting to become a master of understanding this institution will go a long way in making you aware of the entire global monetary system and how it all really works. Having a profound understanding of money will not only allow you to comprehend the roots of the current system we live in, but can then catapult you into developing solutions that can realistically work. So please, take the time to dive deep and look past the surface of reality. Knowledge is power, but we must actively seek it out.
