Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours (9/8/18).
Even while the closest of US allies carry out open genocide, murder, ethnic cleansing, and show utter disregard for international law and carry out war crimes with near impunity, the US oligarchy forces the discussion to be about whichever county is next to be “liberated” by the US war machine. They are targeted for a little good ol’ fashioned US “democracy” by force — that happens to look an awful lot like invasion, decimation and subjugation — for committing no greater crime than seeking to act in their own best interests, as opposed to that of the US empire.
This is carried out despite there being no evidence whatsoever to support the wild, erratic, and always seemingly identical claims thrown out about US enemies that happen to find themselves on the ever-increasing list of those deemed the ubiquitous “US National Security Threat” simply for seeking self-determination. In fact we even have countless straightforward and honest statements, made by world leaders, journalists on the ground, and even Trump administration members themselves, saying the exact opposite about these baseless accusations made about US “enemies.” Yet we still have villainous deceivers like Nikki Haley grandstanding on the world stage, in a show almost entirely for the US viewers, forcefully reasserting, over and over again, an easily disprovable narrative. This is in hopes that they can manufacture enough consent, with false claims and flimsy assertions of evidence — without ever presenting anything of the kind — to topple the next country on their long-sought list of nations to overthrow.
They think you are too stupid to research their claims, or look back further than last week to see them contradict themselves. They think you are too lost in their orchestrated identity politics to see the web of lies they are weaving all around us.
Prove them wrong.
