In the Bible, one of the passages that talks about Amalek says this:
1 Samuel 15: 1-3
Samuel said to Saul, “I am the one the Lord sent to anoint you king over his people Israel; so listen now to the message from the Lord. 2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy[a] all that belongs to them. Read this in the version of the scriptures I have (RSV, 1951) and its similar to this but not quite. Saul didn’t do exactly what the LORD had commanded him to do. He didn’t’ slay all of them as the LORD commanded them to do. All this took place thousands of years ago. They continued to not obey the Holy Will of the LORD and as a result the enemies of the ancient Hebrews were allowed to conquer them. Jerusalem was attacked by the semitic people of the Babylonian dynasty several times. After this the Hebrews went on to adopt many of the customs, traditions and practices of the Babylonians and other peoples they came into contact with. They have disobeyed the LORDs commandments and statutes ever since. The LORD sent a Messiah to them to provide them and the Gentile nations a “way” to return to obeying His commandments, but as is well documented in the 4 Books of the Apostles, the Book of Acts, and other testimonies in the New Testament (in the version I have) they DID NOT believe Jesus was the Messiah! They did not believe his words! His words found no place in them! The crucified him in an attempt to get rid of him, but he was resurrected and ascended into heaven to be with his Father as the scriptures say. To this very moment in world history they do not abide in the original doctrine of Jesus, The Christ, The Messiah and neither do those who support them!
Man claim to be “Christian”, yet they are engaged in an eclectic process that has been ongoing for a very long time. In fact, ever since the establishment of the ancient civilization named BABYLON! This process has corrupted many nations down through the centuries, especially the “Hebrews”. This process has corrupted every civilization that has existed on earth to this point in human history. This process corrupted the original doctrine of Christ and replaced it with a false doctrine which dominates the Western world. You might want to read what it says about what is to become of those who’ve “played the harlot” with “Babylon, the great”! In the Revelation To John, RSV, 1952, the judgment and doom of “Babylon” and the “nations” who have “played the harlot” with “her” is foretold! The LORD exhorts his people saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” (Revelation To John, 18:4,5, RSV, 1952)
By the way, it’s important to note that in the ancient past the LORD, the “creator of all”, destroyed the ancient world because it had become so corrupt and filled with iniquity that He could not allow it to continue! What makes those who’re involved in iniquity today think that the LORD won’t do it again? HUBRIS! NO ONE IS ABOVE THE AUTHORITY OF GOD, NO ONE!
