CIA Is Conspiring With ISIS In Northeastern Syria: Turkish Media

The CIA is conspiring with ISIS in camps controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeastern Syria, according to Turkey’s pro-government daily Yeni Safak.

NOTE: In its report, Yeni Safak describes the SDF as the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which is considered to be a terrorist group in Turkey, the US and some other states. The reason for this is that the core of the SDF is the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which have deep ties with the PKK.

The report released on March 11 claimed that the CIA had questioned about 2,000 ISIS members and 140 of them had been provided with fake passports and other needed documents. The terrorists, who had received new names, were transported to Iraq.

Yeni Safak also claimed that the CIA had declared the areas of Kesra, Buseira, al-Omar and Suwayr in Deir Ezzor province a military zone and had closed civic movement there. These areas are being used  to question important ISIS members. Some of these terrorists are then moved to “refugee camps” in al-Hol, Rukban and Hasakah. The newspaper also mentioned a special facility created by the CIA in northeastern Syria with the same purpose.

Israeli, French and British special services are reportedly involved.

The report also addressed a poor humanitarian situation in the SDF-controlled “refugee camps” in northeastern Syria. This comes in the course of a previous report by the International Rescue Committee, which said that just recently over 100 people died in or en route to the al-Hol camp.
