Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours (6/11/18).
I reported yesterday that the US currently uses 121 bombs a day, which is about one bomb every 12 minutes. Well it has been circulating that the US is militarily engaged in 76 countries. That is indeed true, and would clearly explain the use of so many bombs, along with many other profiteering factors. However, as I have shown in the past, that number is far higher, and that figure, which was touted recently by Bernie Sanders, is in regard to countries in which the US is supposedly “fighting terrorism.” When one factors in all engagement, that we are aware of, that number is 134, if not higher. Or it could be zero, depending how you define the term war, and so many other very pliable political concepts that bend whichever way suits their current agenda.
The point is, the US is involved in the affairs of far too many sovereign nations around the world, many that do not in any way desire their presence. If you find it shocking that the US is currently involved in over 134 counties, ask yourself why you did not know that. Ask yourself why such an important topic, arguably the most important topic — one that is carried out in your name, and funded with your ever-increasing tax dollars — is one that you know so little about. All while being told you know all there is to know, all you need to know, if you belive mainstream media that is.
I want everyone to truly reflect on just how little we know about what is actually going on around us, and what is actually being carried out with our tax dollars and in our name around the world. I want everyone to reflect on how we are conditioned and programmed to simply not think about it. As if it’s not our right, our duty, to make sure these criminals do not do exactly what they are currently doing.
They want us placated, drugged up and pacified with our social media, TV and fake news propaganda that feeds us pop culture nonsense and one-sided extremist narratives that keep us at each other’s throats over the most unimportant divide and conquer moral outrage tabloid information. They hope we ignore the ever-expanding opioid “epidemic” that is fueled on by the US Government’s very own opium trade and their continual failure to do anything meaningful to stop it or hold any of those who were knowingly involved in its creation and/or perpetuation accountable. They hope we ignore the fact that when all the lies get to be too much to handle or ignore, the very drugs we are given for depression and suicidal thoughts just so happen to double their possibility, and yet, they still dole them out at unprecedented rates, right now, this very moment, with that information in hand.
All this while they invade any country that stands in the way of the real agenda, while bombing whoever still supports them. They pump us full of drugs we don’t need, steal and sell our DNA, organs and personal information to the highest bidder, and they do it all, and much more, while telling us it’s our patriotic duty to ignore anything that suggests their motives might be in any way impure.
It is time we started seeing this for what it is; it is time we started getting angry about it.
