First off, it’s important to make clear that racism is very real, especially in the United States, and to imply otherwise is not only fundamentally wrong, but extremely irresponsible. That being said, the manipulation that is currently taking place in regards to the “hate crimes” supposedly on the rise due to Donald Trump’s rhetoric, and now that he is the President-Elect, is blatant, and many such crimes have already been exposed as planned, organized fabrications, created specifically to control the narrative around the country’s status quo. In other words, to make it appear as if racism and violence are dangerously on the rise and it’s all because YOU–the pubic–made the wrong choice by picking Trump, and–if you still believe and watch mainstream news–it’s all due to that pesky “fake news” we’ve all been hearing about.
As always, it must be made clear that this is not an advocation for Trump, or anyone for that matter, but rather a critique of mainstream media and its obvious attempt to scaremonger the public into demonizing a man who has yet to even officially take office. Once he does, and poor decisions are made, The Last American Vagabond will be the first to call him out, just as we have been with his terribly contradictory choices for his cabinet; and likewise, if choices are made that send this country in the right direction, he will be praised for it. To not do one or the other out of spite or irrational hate, is juvenile and likened to a child who plugs their ears and stomps their feet simply because they do not get their way.
Despite the media’s attempt to control this massive hemorrhaging of its relevance and credibility, the vast majority of Americans are acutely aware of how mainstream media misinformed the public in a dramatic way during what is supposed to be one of the most critical and integral aspects of this “democratic” process. Yet, mainstream media chose to throw its lot in with the establishment up until the very last moment–democracy and free choice be damned. And now that the people are becoming increasingly aware of this monumental failure and violation, the effort has begun to shift the blame onto alternative media(the only media actually telling the Truth during the election) and create the false narrative that, “hate and racism are out of control and if you would have only listened to us, as we lied to you, this never would have happened!”
It greatly benefits the DNC and mainstream media–which both have been exposed for their willingness to lie and manipulate the American public to further their ultimate agenda–to make it appear as if Trump is living up to the worst of their over the top propaganda thrown out about the man during the election. Some of which was no doubt true, yet the chaos currently taking place in the US is, first, primarily Clinton supporters who fail to see the irony in destroying America because the man who was just elected is going to … destroy America; and, second, has largely been exposed as outright lies and falsifications.
In a very concise video by The Resident, Lori Harfenist breaks down some of the most publicized “hate crimes” that have been irresponsibly spread by mainstream media, despite the fact that they were later revealed to be false; and not just false, but intentionally made-up. Yet that did not stop the media from spreading each story that suits their agenda, regardless of its veracity. The sought after narrative is that, “Trump being elected has caused the all-too expected violence against minorities that we have been warning about.” Yet they subsequently failed to tell their programmed followers that the story they were just spreading and getting all upset, angry and hateful about, was in fact a lie. It’s not like the media has a responsibility to inform the public when their information is revealed to be false, that’s not important, just move on to the next quasi-factual story.
The sad thing is this has become common place. The overarching agenda is truly what matters to these outlets, and not the verification of facts. As long as their corporate sponsors and political leaders are happy with the direction, facts just don’t seem to play into their decision-making process any longer. If they turn out to be true, all the better. If they turn out to be false, well only a few people will believe the alt media screaming,
“You’re being lied to.”
There are certainly those in this country who see Trump’s win as some sort of carte blanche to spread their hate. These hateful individuals were no doubt manipulated by the very same media coverage meant to scare the public, and that clearly backfired, as so much of their efforts have this Selection process. Trump is certainly crud at times, and even sexist to a degree, but this Hitler-esque level of propaganda has no basis in reality. I am no fan of Trump, and I still strongly feel that he has no place in the White House, but that does not mean I have to blindly buy into any negative story floated by these very same discredited mainstream outlets. It is just naive to think that this level of misinformation and manipulation was somehow limited to the election coverage that was so clearly biased and counterfeit. At the very least, mainstream media is not doing its due diligence, as the following stories have all been revealed as falsifications, and were never rectified by those who broadcasted the stories as true. According to a recent article by Reason.com:
The first one to really go viral involved a Muslim female student at the University of Louisiana who claimed to have had her hijab ripped off and her wallet stolen the day after Trump’s election by two white men wearing Trump hats. But on Thursday, local police announced that the young woman had admitted she fabricated the story. “This incident is no longer under investigation,” the Lafayette Police Department said in a press release.
This story was spread with no real investigation because it fit with the current narrative, and pushed the idea that Trump was already hurting America. These next two were heralded as “more Trump inspired hate and racism,” when in reality it was poor investigative skills that never got corrected and each was held up as a clear example of Trump inspired hate:
An alleged Ku Klux Klan rally in honor of Trump’s victory turned out to be an old photo of conservatives carrying U.S., Gadsden, and Christian flags that were billowing out in a manner mistaken in a grainy photo for Klan robes.
There were no Southern Illinois University students posting blackface selfies to social media after Trump’s win.
This next one quickly spread on social media as proof of the rising hate in the US, until it was discovered that we was a Clinton supporter. When looked into on a deeper level, this one specifically stands out as possible intentional manipulation, either at the behest of his party, or was simply paid, as with the violent Soros-funded protesters. Either way, it just does not add up:
A Nazi flag that went up over a home in San Francisco Wednesday wasn’t a show of support for anti-Jewish sentiment but “a comment on our new president-elect,” according to the anti-Trump resident who put it up. “I am hoping people get that this is a political statement, and that I’m not a Nazi supporter.”
So if that wasn’t clear enough, this man voted for Clinton. He claims to have hoisted his Nazi flag(why he has it to begin with is another question all together) as some sort of commentary on Trump, or rather on the mainstream image of Trump that this man clearly bought into. Seems suspect. This story went quickly viral as, “Trump’s America” or those saying, “This is now normal in America,” when in reality, as we now know, it was a Clinton supporter making some kind of silent statement. Locals and media alike were left to fill in the blanks … not hard to guess what people will assume. It seems quite hard to believe this man would not have realized how this might be misinterpreted, and was likely intentionally done for that reason.
For a local citizen to see that flag and post it on Facebook is one thing, it’s easy to see that misunderstanding, but when media outlets, even alternative ones, fail to do even the slightest surface level investigation, and publish this as definitive proof of the level of hate Trump releases, it only serves to misinform the people, and allows those actively seeking more control in American lives to secure a firm foothold, as we fight amongst ourselves and fail to recognize the true threat they represent.
These are only a few of the concocted stories being passed around in this post-election mayhem, and the part that mainstream media plays in that, even to intentionally omit a very relevant fact, or allude to knowingly incorrect information, only further reveals its true agenda, and its absolute delve into irrelevancy.
This seems to paint the clear picture that a lot, if not most of the “hate” and chaos running through the streets appears to come from the opposite side, commentary it may be, but on who exactly?
