True Colors Revealed: DEA Bans CBD Oil Despite Mountains of Medical Evidence

In yet another example of just how little the government actually concerns itself with the well-being of the American people, especially when that well-being stands in the path of its corporate and deep state interests, the DEA just banned CBD oil as a schedule one substance.

For those unfamiliar, CBD oil is a non-psychoactive extract of the cannabis plant. Not only is it completely harmless in every regard, demonstrably so, but it is one of the most medically efficacious substances on the planet. That statement at one point would have been heatedly debated, despite centuries of use and documentation. Yet today, the idea that cannabis is dangerous in any form, be it psychoactive or not, is quickly being dispelled with science and direct research.

This action has nothing to do with the safety and protection of the American people, as one can quite easily see the massive medical benefits of CBD and THC alike, as well as their documentation, with a very small amount of research. One of the first contradictions that will be discovered with even the most surface level investigation, is that the US government, despite having an ongoing and overt ban on cannabis that is unconstitutionally forced on the public, has its very own patent on exactly the type of “medical use” they continuously and boisterously claim … does not exist.

The supposed lack of medical value is the primary reasoning for why cannabis is listed as a schedule one controlled substance alongside heroin, and as all can see, even the government acknowledges that medical capacity … well … for those they deem deserving of its life saving properties. Sadly, it would seem the majority of middle-class American children are somehow not deserving of this medicine. This cannot be justified or explained, as they still pretend that this medical value does not exist in hopes that most will hear of such a patent and just allow themselves to either think it’s just another “conspiracy theory” or that there is a reasonable explanation, which there isn’t; well not a reasonable one anyway.

Just like the unsuccessful attempt to ban kratom, as well as the recent attempt to ban all hemp products, both of which are essentially harmless and stand to counter Big Pharma products, this move is all about profit and control. Which means that these government agencies are willing to take medicine from children in need, simply because a less effective medicine is being produced and sold by groups that are backed by the US government; and these natural products are seen as direct competition.

If there is one thing that this move by the DEA should show every American citizen, it’s that regardless of what the people want, what they feel is best, or what the majority votes for, the government will decide for you. It will not be based on what is best for the public, but what is best for the government interest. On a rare occasion, that interest happens to align with the majority will. Yet, in those instances, the real motive is lurking just behind the scenes. It is no longer acceptable for one to think that these types of bans are done in the best interest of the people, as the facts are laid out on the table for all to see, thanks to the Internet. This is the primary reason for the current attempt to ban those trying to inform the people, as opposed to joining the mainstream echo chamber. As always, it is on each of us to make the conscious decision to stop blindly buying what is being sold, solely because it’s easy, and instead start asking the hard questions.

It’s clear that the powers are shifting; the only question is, will we allow that power to fall yet again into the hands of those seeking to fulfill their own ambition, or rise to the challenge and ensure that the people reclaim their rightful place at the helm of American destiny.
