NDGT did a real belly flop in that interview, that was embarrassing, even for him, and real props to Del and his approach, if anyone listened to the whole thing, the first half is pretty boring, a slow build to a planned out crescendo, well done.
Taibbi has long been a conspiracy denier in public but I am not so sure in private. He is a calculated guy and has spent a lot of time curating a personality that keeps him in the mainstream, so that he can get what he reports across…. thats my read, he frustrates me often when he could just go another a step or two, but I get the sense he is doing that on purpose.
That interview with that Hasan character was the most disgusting thing I have seen since Bill O Reilly eviscerated some kid who’s father died in 911 for not believing the official story. That was pathetic and Matt missed a real chance to go hard hard hard back at him. I think that right there shows his character, he really doesn’t want to he be confrontational, he maintains a relative calm that is not helpful.
I would have put that guy on his ass, credibility? Matt, a gold door opened into a gold room for you and you walked right past it. Oh well.

The future envisioned by “futurists”, those who believe they can create their own future through the development and application of their sciences and technologies, is one in which they claim that “self-assembling nanobots” will be in your blood to keep you from getting sick and even give you eternal life. They want everyone’s brains to be connected to the “cloud” in which a “godlike” intelligence will be in control of “all” who allow themselves to be permanently connected to “it”. If you think this will be a heaven on earth, you are quite mistaken!
