Intestinal Bacteria Shown to Have Links with Alzheimer’s Disease

A Swedish scientific study published in the peer-reviewed Scientific Reports journal casts some interesting and much-needed light on the deeper roles that gut bacteria play in the role of cognitive health. Modern science has already demonstrated the surprising level of neurological activity in the intestines (essentially proving that both neurological functions in the heart and the intestines serve essential functions in the thought process) and now there is a concrete link between intestinal-bacterial health and neuro-degenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease. The study, in its entirety, can be read here.

Intestinal bacteria are at the top of the list for anyone suffering from chronic diseases or ailments. More than just the nutrition a person gets from their diet, it is crucial that a person literally take into account the proper food that the colonies of bacteria in their gut would enjoy eating as well. Overconsumption of alcohol, coffee, sugar, starches (things that are either acidic or full of yeast, generally speaking) will not only lead to the eradication of the proper intestinal bacteria, but will also lead to the cultivation of gut bacteria (such as candida) that will actually begin to multiply and feed off of the nutrients eaten by the human host. While this is not out of the ordinary (any given person these days, especially in the West, has candida bacteria unless they have a very, very strict diet), and low-levels of candida will cause minimal irritation (allergies, as example), candida overgrowth can become a serious problem with debilitating, life-altering symptoms. While many in the scientific community are quick to dismiss the gravity of candida hypersensitivity as a silly “one-size-fits-all” treatment plan for holistic-product marketing, it has become a well-documented fact that, if nothing else, candida hypersensitivity plays a primary contributive role in auto-immune diseases and inflammation.

Now, with more science coming out to show that the proper cultivation of intestinal bacteria can treat and prevent diseases like Alzheimer’s, the curtains have begun to close on the era of allopathic medicine as more and more citizens and doctors alike begin to realize that bodily ailments are the result of someone’s personal physical “erosion” do to their life circumstances, habits, and predispositions. Pills do not fix habits, life-circumstances, and hardly ever fix any predispositions (pharmaceuticals are terrible for healthy intestinal bacteria, ironically), and a true solution to any problem will only ever come from identifying the psychosomatic resistance or friction that is being caused by these circumstances, and becoming dedicated to an entire, all-encompassing life-style change towards lessening these symptoms.

Far from being “satanist,” the esoteric (i.e. occultism or comparative religion) marks the beginning of mathematics, astronomy, psychology, medicine, and even politics. Esoteric science represents a cache of little-known knowledge detailing how to decipher the human's unconscious mind--and the unconscious mind is essentially everything that the human mind is not considering at any given moment.
