2. When the military gets involved in something it is because there are military implications. When the nature of the contracts is concealed, it is because the military implications must be concealed. Nobody gets desperate to develop a vaccine against a virus which is relatively harmless. All the frenetic activity is motivated by an urgent military requirement. So what may that military requirement be? The U.S. is washed up economically and its grip on world power is faltering. China is unstoppable economically. China has stated through military channels that the only way to defeat the U.S. militarily is not through kinetic warfare but instead biological warfare. The seeming hysteria over a cold virus is most likely related to imminent biological world war and the need to protect military forces and at least a core of the U.S. population from the biological agents likely to be unleashed. Economically the U.S. is a cornered rat, so any desperate measures can be expected to preserve global hegemony.
