Down The Rabbit Hole: Mainstream vs Independent

With the massive onslaught of both censorship and outright attacks on independent media, most in the business of spreading truth, and filling the gaping holes left in our society by the deafening absence of mainstream journalistic integrity, have been left with few options to be financially successful in this regard.

Mainstream media incessantly depicts any genuine alt media journalist, without exception, as either out of their mind, or as a money hungry sell-out willing to manipulate any story to make a buck. It is ironic and quite vindicating that most are beginning to recognize the very Orwellian fashion in which most mainstream outlets perfectly embody both of these accusations which are levied at truthers on a daily basis. The reality however, is quite another matter, as most independents do this work out of a passionate desire to truly inform the people, and a deep-seeded belief that this country has the capacity to be great, if led by honorable individuals who believe in the importance of the Constitution(or rather what it outlines: our inherent rights), whether or not those behind its creation truly had good intent.

Oddly enough, those traits just so happen to be two of the primary qualities now listed by the government as those who are deemed “domestic terrorists.” How one’s passionate belief in this nation’s founding document somehow became indicative of domestic terror is astounding and very revealing, and should be all anyone needs to see in order to understand that those actually pulling the strings do not want anyone thinking for themselves or understanding their rights, if they do indeed continue to exist anywhere but that piece of hemp paper in today’s deceptive world. 

The Last American Vagabond ceaselessly works to bring you the Truth that has become a distant after-thought to our mainstream counterparts. Yet, just as most others who have chosen to speak truth in a time of universal deceit, TLAV has been hit in every way possible, to both hinder traffic and revenue. Which is why we are resigned to remove all reliance and financial connection from any Google ad programs such as Adsense, and put our faith in the you, the individual.

While surrounded by the docile masses most find it exceedingly difficult to speak an unpopular truth, even if it is what they truly believe. Yet, while in the comfort of one’s own home, an individual can choose to support groups who dare to rise above the manipulation, without fear of being confronted by the stifling groupthink of the American political mind. They can support those who dare to hold themselves to higher standard while accepting the obvious dangers that coincide with such a dissenting voice.

Those of us who choose to “block the tank’s path” in today’s rising tide of tyranny, do this not for money, fame or recognition, as everyone in this field, save for a select few, will tell you in a resounding chorus just how little of those we actually feel, see or receive. We do this for the average American, who no longer feels that they are truly being represented by the mainstream media, or the current political establishment. And we have faith in this individual to make the right choice; to recognize the extent to which the current system is corrupt and manipulated, and make the conscious choice to reach out in support of whichever independent media group they believe has the genuine altruistic intent to present the Truth, nothing more.

We have faith in you. Have faith in us.
