Operation Ajax, Yemen Genocide Forced Into MSM, UN Palestinian Protection & Venezuela Economic War

Welcome to The Daily Wrap Up, a concise show dedicated to bringing you the most relevant independent news, as we see it, from the last 24 hours (8/19/18).

Yesterday marked the 65th anniversary of when the US, in conjunction with the UK, carried out a coup in Iran, wildly destabilizing the county (by design), overthrowing the country’s democratically elected leader, Mohammad Mossadeq, and installing a CIA groomed dictator. In 2018, the CIA just calls that Monday, yet the country of focus may vary.

What was once considered a wild-eyed conspiracy theory is now a verifiable fact, as the government has since admitted to carrying out Operation Ajax, that was planned by the CIA in cooperation with MI6 in the UK, to exploit the Iranian people and steal their oil on behalf of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) – the British state-owned oil company established in 1908 with this objective in mind and the forerunner of today’s global oil conglomerate BP.

Last year the State Department released a trove of documents that give insight into the CIA’s role in the 1953 coup d’état that led to the overthrow of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadeq. The newly declassified documents, entitled “Foreign Relations of the United States, 1952-1954, Iran, 1951–1954,” tell quite a different story from the original 1989 State Department version of the events, which of course left out any involvement from American and British intelligence.

This, yet again, shows us just how willing our government officials are to lie, manipulate and obfuscate the truth when it suits their political agenda, always under some foggy claim of a threat to our “national security,” all the while being nothing of the kind. The reality is that the American people would not have been okay with carrying out such a sinister and self-serving attack on a sovereign nation that so directly contradicted what we always tell ourselves about the intentions of our government and the true nature of this country — like some sort of adult bedtime story or parental reassurance, promising us that there is no monster in the closet. Yet the more we find out about our own history, it slowly begins to become clear that we have been the monster in the closet all along, or rather the devious men misleading us had made us that monster, while telling us all that we were saving the world.

Operation Ajax, the 1953 Iranian regime change effort, was justified at the time by the stated goal of “stopping a communist take over” and as always the ever-present “threat it posed to our democratic ways,” among others. This is hauntingly similar to what we are seeing again today — “a threat to our democracy.” It is very important that we make the clear connection to what is going on in Iran currently, and how the very same tired efforts and manipulations are being deployed yet again.

A memorandum from the CIA, dated March 3, 1953, detailed the “Capabilities of CIA clandestine services in Iran,” which could be used to “prevent the assumption of power by Tudeh,” Iran’s Communist party. They outlined how they could carry out “rumor spreading; street riots, demonstrations, and mobs.” Sound familiar?

They stated that, “the CIA controls a network with numerous press, political, and clerical contacts which has proven itself capable of disseminating large-scale anti-Tudeh propaganda.” Consider the unfettered mainstream media support around the aggression toward Iran, and ask yourself, if the CIA had “numerous press, political and clerical contacts” in 1953, how many do you suppose they have now, that are “capable of disseminating large-scale propaganda?”

The idea that the CIA would meddle in a sovereign nation, work to overthrow its government, and then influence public perception, is nothing new in 2018. And yet, despite years of revelations, regime-change wars and failed proxy governments, there is still a perception among the American people that the government interfering with countries that have done nothing to the U.S., is all in the name of “freedom.”

Looking back, we now know that Mohammad Mossadeq was a huge fan of the idea of a democratic society, even had pictures of himself next to the Liberty Bell, and was actively striving to build a free and independent Iran, yet this did not work for the US Imperialists.

So they overthrew a democratically elected leader, and put in his place the Shah. The Shah, was an absolute despot who squandered Iran’s wealth to his benefit and that of his political allies. Chief among them at the time, the US.

America has created and maintained far too many friendships with autocrats and war criminals for anyone to remain under the illusion that its agenda is ever about anything but wealth and dominance.

As always, take the information discussed in the video below and research it for yourself, and come to your own conclusions. Anyone telling you what the truth is, or claiming they have the answer, is likely leading you astray, for one reason or another. Stay Vigilant.
