The Daily Wrap Up 1/6 – Critical Thinking Has Never Been More Important

More information is being thrown at the American people than ever before in history. While that can be seen as a good problem to have, most see it as a burden, a weight on their day-to-day lives. One could argue that such an effort is intentional, and designed to overwhelm the average citizen into a willful state of ignorance and acceptance of the mainstream point of view. Regardless of whether that is in fact the case, that is the end-result being witnessed today.

Many are simply overwhelmed with the choices put in front of them — whom to trust and whom to disregard. Half of them are resigned to just ignore the information all together and trust that the government has their best interest in mind. Yet, sadly, history has shown very clearly, that is not the case. The other half — many who were at one point very critical of the government, and who once stood in opposition to the many agendas that are currently being carried out, only under a different president — are now wrapped up in their own desire to believe in an idea that has been sold to them in a very deceptive manner. This idea was built specifically for those who never gave up hope that one person would come along and solve all of our problems — the inherent fallacy of American political beliefs, or government itself; authority itself.

What we all need to remember, is that it’s our ability, our right, to effect change on a massive scale that makes this country truly great, or what could make it great, should we see past the divisive government efforts at play. We must apply critical thinking to every discussion point, regardless of what we currently feel, believe, or think we know.

With all that we now know about the world today that directly contradicts what we KNEW in the past, it is simply responsible to keep an open mind in all matters — which is a sign of intelligence, not weakness, or a lack of conviction. Even more so, when considering how openly the government carries out its efforts to mold our education, our perspectives, our very understanding of the world, it is almost dangerous to outright dismiss any topic or perspective, without first allowing the individual presenting the idea the courtesy of laying out why it is they feel the way they do.

In today’s quickly changing landscape of information and overall understanding of the world, if someone tells you that two plus two equals five, you damn well better sit back and hear them out, regardless of what you think you know. You may walk away still holding fast to your original belief that two plus two does in fact equal four, yet to not keep an open mind, is simply irresponsible.

Clearly this is not ideal, and not what many want for their interactions in life — to question everything — but that is unfortunately the world in which we live, that is our reality, and it was molded this way for a reason. Those who created this propagandized world are the ones at fault, and not those currently attempting to reveal this deception, or those trying to expose the dormant truth behind it all. It is in fact those tackling this difficult and thankless job, that deserve your respect and admiration, if not your patience.

As hard as this may be to grasp for some, the time will come when there is no longer a choice. And that time is rapidly approaching. So everyday we will do our best to present you with all the information we feel is the most relevant and truthful. Nonetheless, you should not simply take our word for it either. One must overcome this issue on their own, and begin to formulate their own conclusions independent of what we or anyone else may feel is the truth. As one thing that has never changed, is that facts are immalleable, yet today, “the truth” is ever-changing.

Tune everyday for a new Daily Wrap Up, as we compile the day’s most relevant information, as we see it:

  1. Thank you for yet another meaningful article. What is needed, sorely needed, for critical thinking to manifest into critical action is THE INDIVIDUAL. “Group think” is one of the greatest obstacles to individual freedom and thus the capacity to think for oneself. But for the keen eye and the profound sensibility it is easy to see through: It´s main mechanism rests on common consent. On socalled “democracy” and socalled “normalcy.” It is the Tyranny of the Many seeking monopoly on everyone´s soul and everyone´s life.

In my experience THE INDIVIDUAL who dares to open her/ his own eyes and insist on what she/ he sees and having the COURAGE to say it out loud is what critical thinking needs in order to overcome the absurd insistence of today on the lowest common denominator – and thus transcend it.
    And substitue it with sense.
